Created as a school project, I designed a fictional architecture magazine. ARCH magazine embraces contemporary and minimalist design fundamentals. The goal was to match the unique and minimal style of the architectural content featured. The potential audience—modern architectural designers—are most likely attracted to minimal and basic aesthetic principles. Abundant negative space, high-contrast type treatment, and a consistent grid throughout aid in creating a magazine that is as functional and stylish as the content itself. 2009 AIGA Detroit Design Re:view award winner.
